The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings and plans for various construction projects using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural and engineering design principles, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities

Prepare clear and accurate drawings utilizing the Company’s standard practices, architectural, structural or miscellaneous drawings, specifications and design calculation
Communicate verbally and written with team members, customers and subcontractors/vendors as required on each project
Knowledge of and ability to read architectural/structural drawings
Able to work on multiple projects at the same time
Modify designs and plans in response to feedback or changes in project scope
Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and building codes
Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation for easy access and retrieval
Conduct site inspections as needed to gather information for project specifications
Assist in the preparation of project estimates and timelines
Stay current with advancements in CAD software and design techniques
Qualifications and Skills
Skilled in AutoCAD, Google Sketchup, and/or other adequate design programs
Agricultural background helpful, but not mandatory
Must be able to work and function in a deadline driven environment
Must have organizational and time management skills
Must be detail oriented
Skilled in MS Office computer programs
Must be loyal, punctual and dependable

Stone Mill Construction, LLC is looking to fill multiple, full-time positions doing carpentry for Agricultural, Commercial, and Industrial Pre-Engineered wood & steel buildings. Ability to work with others and take tasks from leads to construct the needs of the project at hand.
Responsibilities
The following responsibilities are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other responsibilities may be required and assigned.
Site Preparation and Cleanup:
Cleaning and preparing construction sites: Removing debris, clearing obstacles, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment
Removing hazards: Identifying and addressing potential safety issues
Maintaining a clean and organized worksite: Ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and accessible
Material Handling:
Loading and unloading materials and equipment: Moving materials from trucks, containers, or storage areas to the job site
Positioning and securing materials: Ensuring materials are placed correctly and safely for use
Moving and transporting materials: Using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment to move materials around the site
Building Erection:
Performing building erection for pre-engineered steel and wood framed buildings
Install roofing, siding, insulation, and flashing
Carpentry:
Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial and agricultural projects
Frame interior walls, install trim, and door frames
Assisting Tradespeople:
Following instructions from supervisors:Implementing construction plans and carrying out tasks as directed
Operating and tending machinery and equipment: Using hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment under the guidance of supervisors
Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures: Assisting with the erection and dismantling of temporary structures
Safety:
Follow all required OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment for all people working per jobsite
Report all non-safe practices to proper management
Wear the needed safety equipment and be sure that it fits properly

The foreman will be responsible for managing and training staff; ensure construction equipment is properly maintained; and keep projects on schedule and within allotted budgets. The candidate should be extremely organized with excellent time management, leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
Manage schedules and monitor the attendance of the crew
Oversee construction sites and supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, and other workers according to priorities and plans
Emphasize safe use of all tools and equipment and enforce the proper use of safety gear, like helmets and safety glasses
Manage employees to ensure the project is kept on schedule
Create and maintain a construction schedule with project goals in mind
Train, supervise, and assign tasks to crew members
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed on construction sites
Report progress to Project Manager, Estimating Coordinator, etc.
Ensure all construction projects stay on schedule, remain within the budget, and are completed successfully
Qualifications and Skills
Advanced knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and construction plans
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to problem-solve and fix routine errors
In-depth knowledge of safety guidelines and best practices
Strong managerial skills
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on supervisory roles
Proven leadership skills
Ability to drive projects to fruition on time and within budget
Ability to train, and supervise workers
Expertise in sourcing and supervising construction materials, such as tools and equipment

Generate new customer leads and future business through personal marketing
Schedule and conduct meetings with potential customers to evaluate their initial needs, desires and vision
As the liaison between the customer and the Monroe Office, disseminate the customer vision to the sales support team and the engineering team to collaboratively develop the ‘Building Project Proposal’
Present the Building Project Proposal to the customer, communicate all contractual aspects of the project, execute the customer contract and collect customer down payment
Working Environment and Physical Demands
Regular travel to project/customer locations
Regular exposure to driving conditions, construction sites, variable year-round weather conditions
Perform work in an office setting
